Care Guide
How should I care for my crochet pieces?
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your piece, we recommend gentle hand washing only.
Use cool or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach, even on white items, as it may weaken fibres and affect the appearance of the piece.
After washing, gently reshape the item and lay it flat to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure may cause colours to fade and fibres to lose their natural lustre.
Do not tumble dry, wring or twist the garment.
How should I store my crochet pieces?
Store your pieces in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
For crochet garments, folding is recommended rather than hanging, as hanging may stretch the fibres over time.
How should I care for jewellery and accessories?
Keep jewellery away from water, perfumes, lotions and other chemicals whenever possible.
Store pieces separately to avoid scratches and gently wipe them with a soft cloth after use.
Can crochet items be machine washed?
No. We recommend hand washing only.
Machine washing may stretch, distort or damage handcrafted details and delicate fibres.
Will my handmade piece change over time?
Like all handcrafted pieces, natural fibres may soften with wear and washing. Small variations are part of the character and uniqueness of each creation.
With proper care, your Mars piece can be enjoyed for years to come.
